Sgt. Bobby Waidler manages programs designed to create and enhance Resilience and sustainability in police officers. He is Coordinator of DPD’s Resiliency and Wellness Program, Peer Support Program, Chaplain’s Program, and the Physical Therapy Program. Bobby began his career in 1997 working for NYPD in Brooklyn before transferring to Denver in 2000, where he worked as a patrol and motorcycle officer and was promoted to Sergeant in 2007. He worked as a Detective Sergeant prior to his current assignment, which is part of the Police Academy. Through his career, Bobby has learned the value of establishing a resilient mindset to protect himself from moments of challenge and adversity, allowing him to survive and thrive.
