Heather is a data maven and technical solutions-driven thought leader with over eighteen years of recruiting and sourcing experience across various industries. She is a passionate supporter of SourceCon and Boolean Black Belt methodologies and strives to translate those principles into repeatable models of success.
Today as the Recruitment Manager for the Strategic Sourcing team she is responsible for the planning and execution of sourcing campaigns that build highly specialized talent pipelines for “just in time” and “future-state” recruitment initiatives. A recent accomplishment has been the successful formulation of a Strategic Sourcing Team within Sodexo’s Talent Acquisition division that is in sync with the needs of the business. This endeavor has included the customization of the innovative Avature CRM system to accommodate the workflows of candidate engagement and to establish sourcing team metrics and KPI’s. Among the many accolades, the 2016 Avature Administration team won the “Spirit of Progress Team” award for Sodexo Talent Acquisition, and she received the individual award of “Key Support Partner” in 2014.
Heather’s diverse recruitment background is deep-rooted in the confluence of Technical Recruiting as a valuable internal and external service offering. Before Sodexo, Heather recruited for IT and Telecom professionals during the boom of the dot com era and then migrated into Lean Six Sigma and Plant Operations within manufacturing. As an executive search headhunter, Heather’s expertise spanned a variety of industries including food, pharmaceutical, financial, manufacturing, agriculture and oil/gas. During her time as a full desk recruiter and sourcing researcher, Heather implemented effective solutions to alleviate the many obstacles found within the recruitment life cycle. She was one of the first recipients of the coveted “Certified PeopleSourcer Level II” certification by Irina Shamaeva, the renowned leader of the Boolean Strings Networking Group. Heather also serves as a mentor to Sodexo’s “Sourcing Black Belt Ninja” training program offered by Social Talent.
2017 marks Heather’s second year speaking at the HCI Conference, past topics include Strategic Sourcing models and CRM implementation strategies. Heather is a three-time speaker at Avature’s National Conference, where she covered the following themes and breakout sessions: Configuring your Sourcing CRM for Pipeline Management, Building a Strategic Sourcing Team and Assembling Strategic Sourcing Data to Enable Business Decisions.
