Jeffrey E. Auerbach, Ph.D., is the founder of the College of Executive Coaching, a Post-Graduate Institute, and an International Coach Federation Accredited Coach Training Program. He designs and delivers executive coaching programs throughout the United States. In addition, although based in California, he has worked with clients in Canada, Mexico, Europe, South America, the Middle East, Australia, India, and Korea. Dr. Auerbach is a specialist in emotionally intelligent based coaching approaches and develops custom emotionally intelligent based leadership development programs utilizing EI competencies, and organizational goals, as a basis for becoming a peak performing health care leader. MHS Assessments, the publisher of the EQ-i 2.0, the best normed and most culturally fair of the Emotional Intelligence assessments, has selected Dr. Auerbach to provide accreditation training and certification for the EQ-i 2.0 and EQ360 assessments. Dr. Auerbach served as the Global Vice-President of the International Coach Federation. Dr. Auerbach has served both as President, and for five years as an International Board Member, of the Association of Coach Training Organizations. He has served on the Editorial Board of Coaching: International Journal of Theory, Research and Practice. Dr. Auerbach is the author of the classic coaching book, Personal and Executive Coaching, now in its 22nd printing, the Well-Being Coaching Workbook, and Positive Psychology in Coaching. In addition, he conducted the first state of the coaching industry research survey which was published in 2005, What Organizations Need to Know: The State of the Coaching Industry Report. He also is the author of numerous research papers and book chapters on the coaching field. Other professional involvement includes: two years as the Co-Chair of the American Psychological Association's Society of Consulting Psychology Conference; four years as a Steering Committee Member of the American Psychological Association Healthy Workplace Awards (California); and Steering Committee Member of the Executive Coaching Summit. He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, the Chicago School, and Antioch University. Dr. Auerbach is particularly passionate about the power of coaching to uplift humanity. He holds the Master Certified Coach Credential, the highest level of credential in the coaching industry, from the International Coach Federation.
