Don Sabatino

Senior Vice President, Bayard Advertising

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Don graduated from the University of Kentucky (1985) with a degree in Business Administration (specializing in Personnel/Industrial Relations) and a minor in Economics. He immediately began his career in the Human Resource Communications/Marketing Industry as an Account Executive with a major agency located in Chicago (covering a territory that included Iowa, Nebraska, down-state Illinois and Chicago’s northwest suburbs). In 1986 he was promoted to Regional Manager and opened a new office in Orlando, Florida where he immediately made an impact while also becoming a member of the Florida SHRM Association. Receiving numerous awards for his accomplishments he was promoted in 1992 relocating and servicing the Los Angeles marketplace winning the agency’s most improved office, top sales for new business and the prestigious Eisenberg/Allen Creative Award (twice). In 2003 he was promoted to Vice President Western Region and in 2006 was again promoted to Sr. Vice President earning Executive Awards for outstanding achievements in the recruitment advertising/marketing industry. Don was instrumental in the strategic direction and creative branding development of a leading organization that received “Best Employer Brand” at ERE’s (Electronic Recruiters Exchange) Annual Recruiting Excellence Awards. In 2009 Don proudly joined forces with Bayard Advertising Agency (Los Angeles) and is currently responsible for overseeing client engagement, strategy and account management (including the proper talent/resource allocations) directing successful online/offline candidate sourcing initiatives. With over 30+ years of experience he continues guiding and serving leading clients delivering best-of-class solutions across every major industry. Don has also been a guest speaker for many Associations - Media Organizations including the Florida Hospital and Central Florida Hotel Associations, College and University Placement Association (CUPA), Los Angeles Times, Media News Group and the Suburban Newspapers of America (SNA). Don is an active supporter of numerous State and National HR Associations including ASHHRA, CUPA, EMA, ERE, HHRMA, NCHRA, PIRHA, and SHRM. Don was also a member of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses and is enjoying living back in the Midwest with his Family.
